You may think that losing a leg would want to make you take it easy but not for Bridget Holden. Due to a serious accident at work whilst a teacher Bridget then lost her leg because of infection . Due to complications, Bridget was the second woman, (the only one in East of England) out of eighteen in the country to be offered surgery for a procedure still in it’s clinical trials, Osseo-integration. 4 years of intensive rehabilitation, countless hospital visits and numerous nerve pain medication Bridget is now raring to take on a challenge; and after what she has had to endure this challenge should be relatively easy. Bridget has launched a new Living Clean franchise; offering a completely eco-friendly cleaning service to customers in North Norfolk.
Bridget is 52 with a zest for life. Having been in the Territorial army for 14 years she’s dealt with fear head on, driving tanks and free falling from an aeroplane 20,000’ up in the sky wasn’t a task taken lightly. A Norfolk woman through and through living and working on a beautiful farm in Hindleveston. She originally got the business bug when she helped a brother manage his business and from that she learned that she loved organising, planning and dealing with clients and staff. Bridget knew that she wanted to run her own business and when she got the all clear from the hospital she set out to seek the perfect opportunity with her brother Neil, who is an established local farmer. Bridget and Neil have always had a close relationship being 10 years her junior they spent much of their early years together and have a special bond, making the perfect partnership.
Through the Holt chronicle she came across Living Clean who at the time were looking for a franchisee for the North Norfolk territory.
