Franchises and Franchisees Information
A Franchise is mainly a tried and tested formula/system that the franchisee ( a Franchisee is the person that purchases a Franchise) is required to follow minimizing any risk when you start a business. The Franchisee will be shown how to follow the formula/system and the Franchisor (the organisation that supplies the franchise) will expect you to adhere to the formula/system.
At Living Clean we have researched and tried and tested formulas may times until we embarked upon the most straight forward and correct system that enables a successful cleaning company.
The Franchisee buys a proven formula/system along with the Franchise package .
A Franchise package is what is needed for a successful launch.
Franchise packages may vary so we will show you a Living Clean Franchise package to give you an idea.
A Living Clean Franchise package consists of:
- Franchise licence fee
- Training
- Operational equipment
- Supplies/stock
- Business equipment ie software
- Work wear
- Stationary
- Launch advertising
- Territory
There is always a set up fee and then an ongoing management fee based on the percentage of turnover (This is based on Living Clean the management fee may vary with other Franchises)
A Franchise is a proven system not just a right to sell a product or service.
Types of Franchises
There are mainly just two types of Franchises. A Management Franchise, which Living Clean is. A Management Franchise is where the business has been developed to have people employed by yourself, so you are managing others to do the labour.
The other one is a Job Franchise which is usually yourself and a van/car and you will be required to do the service and then to do whatever administrational duties as well.
As with both types of Franchises you will be expected to trade only within your territory, this stops Franchisees competing for the same client. All Franchisees would be expected to adhere to the standards that the Franchisor sets, therefore the same standard of work is being accomplished by all the Franchises throughout the network.
The Franchise would have a brand image thathas to be adhered to. For example the brand image of Living Clean is that we are Environmentally Responsible in all our actions throughout the company from the cleaning to the stationary. We have a fresh, sensible, professional approach and we care. We care about our clients, our staff, our world. We want to clean homes but we do not want to damage our world by doing so, hence Clean Home Clean World. This is our brand, our image, from the logo alone you get a sense of why we are unique and what to expect from us. We expect our Franchisees to be a part of that and to offer the same dedication to the brand. Other Franchises have their own brand image and they too would expect their franchisees to be part of their brand.
